Welcome to the world of TM Allman. Please watch this space as it grows from a single story into a library. I am excited to be on this journey, and I hope you check in to see where I go!

I live in the Great Lakes region of the US, near the most dangerous of the lakes. Our area is known as the ‘Malibu of the Midwest’ for our surfing culture. During Hurricane Sandy we had fifteen foot waves! My home is surrounded by glacial moraines and kettles, smaller lakes and forests, and is full of outdoor opportunities. I love nature and this beautiful planet we call home. My love of nature is part of what drew me to the discipline of Geology. I have a B.S. in Geology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. While in school I participated in several geologic field trips, including a mapping trip to Canada. I also volunteered at the department’s Geology Museum. It was a wonderful experience.

I have always been a daydreamer, creating stories in my head for entertainment. These daydreams sometimes evolve into a story, and sometimes a story evolves into more. This process created my first novel, Return of the Sun. The tale has an open ending because I don’t think the characters’ stories are complete. I have been daydreaming about what happens next…
